Just head over to the Kitty Kream and you will find Shade inside. There is also a Quick change station to the West of the Fountain. Most of them have chests on the roof for some handy supplies. There are a few sand pirates and stalkers in the area, but the opposition is light. Find the Treasure Open chest The mission is obtained from a bottle at Rockview Rest Stop. You can take some time to search the buildings. Message in a Bottle is an optional mission in the Captain Scarlett and Her Pirates Booty DLC for Borderlands 2. He is found off to the East of the fountain in town. When No-Beard is dead you can then head for Shade. Just plenty of movement (or getting on a roof and sniping) should be enough to cinch this fight for you. If you need to close the distance, be sure to keep some cover and use the action skill to get some help with him. He is the first “boss” and very easy to kill from a distance as he prefers to be closer. When you get through that group their leader, No-Beard, will appear in the back of town and come charging in after you. This does give a quick kill option but be sure to be away from him when you do kill him. The real damage comes from his death as he will explode. He likes to lob grenades at mid range and shoot at you otherwise. The Powder Monkey presents a different sort of explosive threat. Pirates are your regular ranged attackers. The Consair is the equivalent of a Psycho who comes running up to you. Thankfully this pirate is not very durable so you can get through him with only a few shots. The Grogmaster is the toughest one as he likes to run up, throwing molotov cocktails and explode on you. As you enter town you are introduced to the new enemy types: Rapscallion, Gunner, Consair, Pirate, Powder Money and Grogmaster. Do so then head on down to the town itself. You will find a loot chest sitting right there for you to grab. Head on down the slope and go over to the first van on the right.
